I have to say that growing your own flowers for your wedding day is such a treat.  These flowers are gorgeous and I get to enjoy them every day!

Vintage Shopping Expedition

I am so excited to find these old glass bottles.  They make the prettiest bud vases.  I have a little DIY project in mind for these.  I'll update this post when they are done.  I can't begin to tell you how exciting and rewarding it is to find something in a vintage store that you are looking for.  These bottles can be hard to find sometimes and also pretty spendy.  I happened to find a store that had a whole bunch of them and gave me a great deal for buying so many!   I found these at  Schroeder's Furniture Collectibles  220 East Main Street Medford, OR 97501 if your local check them out, they have some amazing things!

For the LOVE of pink

My wonderful future husband to be gave me these beautiful pink tulips as gift for our  "anniversary" this year.  They are the most beautiful pink tulips I have ever seen.  I was able to capture theses beautiful pictures just before they lost their petals.  They are now in the ground and I am awaiting their return next spring.

DIY Flower arrangement, not bad for an amature!

 This arrangement was made for my mom for Mother's Day by me.   I had a whole lot of fun with this and give credit to the great DIY  Tutorials I posted earlier.  I plan on doing all the flowers for my wedding next year and this bouquet was great practice.  I have confidence that the wedding flowers will turn out lovely.
