This next find just fills my heart with fabulous thoughts of heirloom potential and sentimental value.  It is a Marriage Medallion Solid French Sterling Silver Circa 1800s Signed Petit Mint. It reads "Que L'Homme Donc Ne Separe Pas Ce Que Dieu A Uni," which translates to "May man not separate what God has made one," from the gospel of Matthew.  Forget the six pence....carry this with you down the isle, then give it to your daughter or son when it is their turn to tie the knot.  Just Lovely!

Get The Look

Image Style Me Pretty

I just love the weddings on the Famous Style Me Pretty wedding blog, as do most brides to be.  The details, the colors, the feelings that arise from just looking at such prettiness.  Often when I look for inspiration on the site, I do more that just look, I tend to dissect each picture and find the one thing in the picture that really makes it stand out.  Then a mental process begins....How to re-create that look, on a budget-a tight one.   Every bride wants her wedding to provoke feelings, to be beautiful, to evoke the senses.  Not every bride can afford to do that, or they just don't know how to do it with in their means.  That is were I come in handy, I and the internet snoop you could say.  I fully believe that I can do the same thing, for less.  It might take a little bit of elbow grease, sometimes a lot.  But, it can be done and I will show you how.

What stands out in these pictures?  Candlesticks.  Costly? They can be if you purchase them table ready.  But purchased unfinished they can be detailed to match your wedding exactly.  With all the options available in the spray paint isle at your local craft store, the options are endless.  Check out this amazing site for unfinished goodies. You don't have to stop at the candlesticks, keep on going and style your wedding on your terms and budget.  Craftparts.com

Far and away- Dreamy destinations that won't break your bank

Vacation Rentals in Turks & Caicos

One of the things I just love about vacation rentals is privacy!  When you think about your honeymoon, most likely the first things that come to mind are peace and tranquility, privacy and seclusion.  You start to form a picture in your mind of the perfect honeymoon.  Once the search begins you quickly realize the cost of your dreamy picture perfect honeymoon.  Resorts galore sell honeymooner's this vision and attach a hefty price tag.  What is often overlooked is the privacy factor.  Sure your suite may have a deck or patio with a private plunge pool and a privacy wall. Maybe you will get an ocean view, or not.  But, how many other honeymooner's are you sharing your resort with?   Peace and Tranquility, Privacy and Seclusion seem to go right out the window.

Vacation rentals start to become very attractive.  No resort up charges and complete privacy.  Often they are renovated with the vacationer in mind, modern design, comfortable linens, private kitchen, and most often right on the beach.  A little private house just for the two of you.  Imagine starting off your marriage going to the local market together, stocking your kitchen with local produce,  making breakfast, then dining together ocean front right on your very own private balcony. Now that sounds dreamy.  Thanks to HomeAway.com you can forget the hotel room... check out these amazing pads and re-envision your vision.  Today I am taking a tour of the amazing options in the world renowned Turks and Caicos..Enjoy.  (smooch)

Pretty Wedding Programs

Are these not the prettiest programs?  They are the prettiest that I have seen. I am not sure how they open though, they are four pages of die cut card stock secured with a ribbon. Completely personalized, prices start at 50 for $150.00 over at Programs and Bulletins.

Wedding Fonts

I found a wonderful collection of wedding fonts over at Custom Paper. So many to choose from and the prices are not to shabby!
